Overall History: Isobel's story doesn't start with her, it starts back, over twenty years ago. Her father, Edwin Addison Yates, was an up and coming business name, at least he liked to think that. He was twenty seven when he met the very beautiful, Rosemary Ryan Aarons, a twenty one year old model and actress. She lived in New York City, as a model and doing small commercials and small roles on TV shows. Edwin was living in Chicago, working for a company. You can't say they stayed together because of love, there was love somewhere inside, but each had something the other wanted. Edwin had security, and Rosemary has the looks and "breeding" he liked. They were both from money. Three years were was a huge wedding, and then nine months after that, a firey haired baby was born. It wasn't like they wanted a baby, it was sort of an inconvenience towards them, neither wanted to stay home to look over the green eyed beauty. That's when things got a little less perfect. The twenty four year old model/actress was now getting big roles in movies, and the thirty one year old was getting big promotions. They lived in Chicago, but neither were home for more than a few days either because of work or because they didn't want to. They hired a team of nannies and house keepers to keep everything situated, god forbid they take care of their own daughter for once or even look at her for that matter. Despite her unconventional up bringing, Isobel grew into a hyper, loving, and trusting little girl. Though, her first words were not mom or dad. When she was old enough for school, they sent her to a private all girl's school in Chicago. Growing up, she knew her school, and had a fabulous education, and was given what she wanted when she wanted it. She often even got things for other people, finding that she wanted to make up for her parent's lack of humanity. When she was a Sophomore, her father was offered a CEO job in California, he and her mother moved to California, leaving her behind to finish the school year. Now however she didn't have nannies; she had a personal chef and a housekeeper, whom she both loved dearly, they taught her things, like how to make the perfect omelet or how to revamp her own clothes. Of course they were coming with to California, after she convinced her parents that they were not going to come because they would be leaving their lives behind and they both got huge bonuses and a raise. Yes, she knew how to work the system after being able to learn how her parents worked. If she tried to do something that would cause them to become real parents, they magically got her things. She wanted to get a car, they bought her a ridiculous car for a sixteen year old, she wanted to take riding lessons, they imported a Friesian gelding for her to learn on, she asked when they were going to be home for Christmas, Thanksgiving, or her birthday, and they buy her dogs and cats. Now that her school year has finished they shipped all of their belongings to Newport, though neither of them work in Newport, they bought a large house and set everything up for the "help" and made sure that Isobel had what she needed or didn't need and off they went. Even though her parents are rarely home, she still knows that they are both having affairs and they are basically paying her off not to tell. Being in a new town and having to go to not only a public school, but a co-ed one at that is thrilling to her. New adventures await her, but she had not clue what will happen, when, or how it will play out in the end.
