Personality
“Life fast, die young” is Daisys motto in life. Her life is heading towards self-destruction, she spends her days partying, drinking and drug taking, but this is the life she wants to lead and she enjoys it. Daisy is a very mysterious girl, likes her background and her history to remain unknown to those around her. People know her name, but not her story. There’s a reason a personal life is called person. Daisy simply doesn’t trust anyone.
Daisy is rather detached from the world and from people, she is a watcher. She watches people and situations around her. When Daisy sits silently on the sidelines, watching a scene unfold, she is aware of everything and everyone. She is the puppet master and has the ability to pluck the strings if it interests her to do so.
Seductive is one way of describing Daisy. She likes to flirt with men, manipulates them and strings them along, getting inside their head. It’s just all just game for her. She is capable of love, but refuses to embrace this emotion, she refuses to get hurt. Attachment makes Daisy’s weak. Daisy is always in control of the situation until she starts to get attached or fall in love then she starts losing that control in an epic fashion. Daisy doesn’t like to get emotionally attached to people. The only person Daisy truly cares about is her brother and he’s the one who truly knows her.
Daisy is a thrill seeker. If you’re looking for someone to party with, this is your girl. She loves the chase, she loves games, she loves talking in riddles, and loves to party. This is the only way in which Daisy can successfully relate to people in the world. Emotions she does not understand. Though she may able to observe and analyse emotions she definitely does not know how to handle them, because they offer her no sense of control or comfort.
Daisy is a complex girl who is slightly unhinged though everyone fails to realise this, because she comes across as controlled and confident. The girl who can manipulate any situation cannot her fix herself. She plays games and parties hard, because it was the only way for her to feel close to anything you could possibly call pleasure or happiness.
History
Daisy was born in California to parents Henry and Catherine Richardson. She was the middle child, a sister, Willow, two years younger and a brother, Elijah, a year older. Needlessly to say she suffered from middle child syndrome, forever feeling ignored and second best compared to her siblings. Her brother was a great footballer, excelled in sport whereas her sister was a musician, playing piano and violin and then there was Daisy, her talent was getting in trouble and rebelling against everything and everyone.
Daisy attended a private school since her parents were high earners, her mother was a lawyer and her father was a business man. The time spent with her parents was very little, they were always busy with other things so the three children were left to occupy themselves. Daisy continued through school achieving average grades, but would always say she would make it to college one day to study Journalism, her life goal was to become a writer, either writing her own books or writing articles for the local paper. Her parents entertained her ideas of going to University, though they doubted their daughter’s ability.
Despite being rated second best compared to her brother and sister Daisy still got along with them, after all it wasn’t their fault they possessed talents. Her sister was quiet and reserved, didn’t like to socialise with people and would rather stay in her room. Her brother was more outgoing, he’d get her into all the social events the football team went to, however he was ridiculously protective over her and wouldn’t think twice about punching a guy who tried it on with Daisy.
However the Richardson’s family took a turn for the worst when Daisy was 16. It was early hours of the morning, 5am and Daisy could hear shouting from downstairs it was her sisters’ voice mainly. Then there was screaming and banging. Daisy jumped out of bed and ran downstairs. Her father was lay dead on the floor, shot. Her sister was holding a gun. She pulled the trigger again and shot dead their mother in front of Daisy and Elijah. The pair fled from the house, running as fast as they could away from Willow.
It turned out that their father has been sexually abusing Willow since she was a young age and their mother knew about it all along too. Daisy blocked it all out, she didn’t want to know those awful things about her parents. Willow was arrested and sent to prison, the evidence just wasn’t enough to prove her innocence.
Daisys’ life took a downhill spiral after this. She continued her studies and got into college, like she always dreamed. However her life is now fuelled by alcohol and drugs, it’s the only way to get by. Her brother’s life took a similar turn, he dropped out of school and took up the career as a drug dealer. Her and Elijah live in a trailer together in Lyons Gate. Daisy just hopes that one day she’ll be able to afford a top notch lawyer to free her sister from prison.
