His third and final tattoo is a quote from Monte Cristo as a reminder that he is only human "remember that what has once been done may be done again.” The first part of it can be found on his left wrist and the other half on his right wrist.

Overall Personality: He is the guy that your mom and dad would want you to bring home, but by the time you get the nerves to ask him out it's too late. Yes, he seems to always be on dates, but nothing ever comes out of it. The circus has been his life since he was born and so it has definitely had an effect on his personality. When you are lucky enough to capture his attention enough for him to ask for your email address and phone number then you are very special. Everyone he allows into his life becomes like family. It is sometimes hard for him to realize when someone doesn't want to be seen like family, but something more. Constantly on the move, he has never thought about settling down in one town.

He loves to figure out new tricks and though he was home schooled his entire life he is probably smarter in subjects like math and logic than people who have attended school. He tries his best to not see himself as better than the others, but the rush of doing death defying stunts can result in a slight god-complex. It is one of the reasons why he has the tattoo written across his wrists. It is there to remind him that he's only human. Yet, his other tattoo's encourage him to keep going, while the scar on his back is another reminder that he is human and lucky he isn't paralyzed.

He does have a temper at times, but you have to have really annoyed him. If he sees you as a threat to animals he will definitely come off rude. Sometimes, he can get this stare that looks like he's looking straight into your soul. Usually the stare creeps people out and he does enjoy creeping people out when he wants to be left alone. Edmond is over protective of his little sister, though ten years a part, he tries his best to stay a sibling to his sister rather than a parent.

Overall History: Born just outside of London, UK ,Edmond had a French mother and a English father. His mother, Aurora, was a part of a circus as a tiger tamer. Aurora's family made up most of the circus. His father was in France studying when the circus had made their way to his area. James went to the circus to see if they needed help while in town. He managed to get a job picking up after the animals and keeping the grounds clean. It wasn't until the third day of work that he had laid eyes on Aurora. He found himself infatuated with Aurora's looks and that was the beginning of James's life following the circus until they saw his dedication and asked him to be a permanent part of the crew.

Edmond was born about a year and a half into Aurora and James' relationship. They stayed with the circus, James's kept working, but Aurora had to stay away from work for a few months. The second she recovered, one of the gypsies took care of Edmond, so Aurora could work. Growing up in a traveling circus wasn't the lifestyle most kids had and Edmond was never really aware of this. He knew there was more than just the circus, but at the same time he didn't really think of the outside world.

When he was ten, almost eleven his mother gave birth to another child. Now, part of Edmond was happy about this, but the other part wanted to stay the only child. Edmond was glad the baby turned out to be girl, in fact he felt less threatened. When not doing chores or being homeschooled by one of the gypsies, he was taking care of his sister. There was a bond between him and his sister from day one.

When his sister was three and he was thirteen, Edmond started to spend more time with the animal trainers and acrobats. He had started learning from observation at the age of seven, but now he was able to start putting his knowledge to the test. By the age of nineteen he was a master with the horses and on his third year of performing as an acrobat. It was also the year his parents were killed. Sure, the reports say it was accidental, careless slips, but Edmond knew better. His father still took care of maintenance and his mother had moved onto acrobats by this time. She slipped and he managed to electrocute himself all around the same time. No, it wasn't an accident, someone had deliberately done it. Which caused Edmond to watch his and his sister's back. He took his two horses, which his parents had given to him for his 18th birthday and they fled the circus, just to join a new one four months later.

Those four months were the longest months. They had to survive on the kindness of others and the occasional five finger discount. When Le Cirque de Reve's took them in, slowly getting them back into a healthy shape, he was very thankful. He took care of the horses for a while, ended up doing tricks like standing and doing a back flip off his horse or vice versa. Eventually and acrobat position became available , where he took over. Le Cirque De Reve's eventually gained his trust and faith back into the circus and became his family. In fact, it wasn't until he fell and almost paralyzed himself that he realized they had become his family. Now, he's in Newport, but he won't be in the circus much longer. Almost 30, he is debating on leaving the circus, though it has been a long family tradition, his heart is starting to not be in it. He will end up leaving, just as the circus pulls away from New Port, due to someone treating his animals cruel.
