Habits: dancing around everywhere, and working out daily Secrets: she ended her dance career early because of her knee (she lied about it to her fellow dancer), she was a foster child and dancing has always been a mistake, she changed her maiden name Overall Personality: Genevieve is a sweet and wholesome girl next door; with a wild side. Vivi as her friends call her, is a retired professional dancer who has a nasty accident. She has a love of life, she is hopeful about life, and likes to have a good time. She was never really able to have a normal life; so now that she is no longer on a strict diet and hectic schedule she's living a lavishing and carefree (almost) life; with bar nights on most weekends, she is always stocked with wine or other alcoholic beverages, and has a real taste for life. She is the girl that will dance any where, and dance like no one is watching. She likes to flirt, giggle, and just have a good old time. She is a great friend; she'll be there for her friends at the drop of a hat, she'll give them the shirt off her back, and even then some. She is a giving person who has a very soft spot for kids and animals in need; which is exactly how she's gotten all of her animals. She is a fit woman. she takes care of herself with dance, horseback riding, physical therapy, and working out at the gym most days; however she loves to eat: steak, chicken, hamburgers, and bacon are among her favorites. Ice cream, cakes, and sweets are things she would never live without. Vivi is this sweet young woman but she is a little shut off towards relationships, who can really blame her after what has happened in her past? She is timid getting into anything more than a sling or something she knows won't last. More times than not she will shut her feeling down if the guy trys to get too close, too fast. You can call her messed up, insecure, or crazy, but she considers herself cautious. She loves to cook, cake, and is rather creative with food, treats, and in other ways. She cleans or tidies up when she gets nervous and has a hard time talking about her feelings. She has a fabulous sense of style and love to dress nice, girly, and fun. Don't be surprised if she shoes up in crazy colors and pulls it off. She was the rave of the small California town. Her happy family seemed perfect on the outside, looking past the small bungalow with a white picket fence, it was all a mask. Brett Graham was an angry man, who became jealous very easily and was hateful towards his young wife. Even though, Danielle Graham was a devoted and very loyal wife who loved her husband and her beautiful daughter. Life went on, rumors spread but Danielle made sure her growing daughter was not effected by this. At the age of five little Genevieve was being introduced to dance and she was a very much in love with dancing. But one night, a fateful and cold December night no one came to pick up the little bright eyed five year old. Vivi, as she was affectionately called by her mother, was left at the dance studio for hours alone and terrified. It wasn't until the police found the crime scene that they realize the little girl was left alone. Of course it wasn't until years later that Vivi found out that Brett Graham lost it when he saw a neighbor carrying groceries for Danielle, who was struggling carrying all her grocery bags; he shot the neighbor outside the house and them strangled his wife before fleeing. They found him two days later being held up in a cheap hotel with a hooker. He was brought in the same day that little Vivi was dressed in all black and mourning the death of her mother, even though at the age of five she didn't understand what was happening. With her only family awaiting trial at the state pen, Vivi was swooped into the foster system. Most would think an adorable five year old would be adopted quickly, but they were worried about her and the history and were sure there would be some psychological issues there. So, Vivi went through several homes and even a few county homes. The only constant element in her life was dance and miraculously she was able to keep it up through the years. By the time Vivi was seventeen she was being signed by a professional dance company. Her final foster mom, Linda Morse, supported her in everything and when she was eighteen she was legally able to go off on her own and the first thing she did was come up with a new surname, now going by Genevieve Monreau, she though it sounded much better and she did not want her father's name following her for the rest of her life. The man attempted to contact her for several years, as he is now serving a death sentence, but she finally told him that she was not his daughter, she wanted nothing to do with him and that the only time he would ever see her would be the night he would be put to death. For almost six years, Vivi enjoyed the life of little pay, traveling, dance competitions, and teaching dance on the side when she had time. It wasn't until she was twenty-three that she was injured during a practice; someone tripped and actually stepped on her knee twisting it and tearing her ACL and meniscus. That ended her happy dance career, after months of grueling therapy she moved away from Santa Ana and settled down starting her own dance studio, Miss Genevieve's Dance. She is trying to get the swing of being a twenty-four year old young woman, after all those years of serious dance. |
