PROTECTIVE/TOUGH:
Zeke only likes to fight when he is in the ring, and even that type of fighting is wrestling. But he is naturally protective, and he will do anything to protect Kaiden and to protect his freedom. He isn’t just protective towards the ones he loves and his nation, but he keeps himself protected. He has a guard up, and the only person who has been let in is Kaiden. Not only is he protective, but he’s
HONEST/TRUST/RIGHT:
He has been raised to always tell the truth. And he always does tell the truth. He never lies, unless it’s to protect someone he loves. Zeke was raised that honesty is the best method. Not only is he honest, he’s insanely trust worthy. He holds many people’s secrets. He will never tell a secret, unless it’d protect someone.
ASSHOLE:
Things aren’t all sugar and dumplings when it comes to Zeke. He has his moments when he is the rudest person in the entire world. It doesn’t happen that often, but if someone gets on his bad side, he wont hold anything back.
CARING:
Once you get past Zeke’s shell he’s a super caring guy that will give up anything for the people that he loves. He has a huge heart, not only for the ones he loves but for animals. If he sees an animal in danger, being mistreated or injured he will do everything to help.
STRUCTURED/CAREFREE:
Usually people who are carefree don’t like to have structure of any kind. Not Zeke. Growing up on a ranch he always had structure. He woke up, did chores, ate, did more chores, took care of the animals, etc. He always had something to do. At times it bothered him but he loved knowing what he had to do and he loved the feeling of getting it done. It’s one reason why he joined the army, he liked being structured. But, at the same time he was a free spirit. Once he gets everything done he loved nothing more than relaxing and drinking a cold beer and hanging out with his friends.

Overall History:
Zeke’s parents are the owners of a ranch, the 180 Ranch to be more specific. It’s a place where juvenile delinquents, runaways, or kids that need some more structure or are addicts come to stay. They get an education, get therapy, serve time and learn something that not a lot of teens have these days. Respect.
Because of this he worked growing up. He learned how to take care of animals, fix cars, and even some construction work. When he was in high school he started working for a local construction company. His parents allowing it because of all the extra help that they had at the ranch because of the other teens.
His parents were always there for him. Supporting him in everything. He got good grades through high school and was on varsity wrestling his junior and senior year. He had multiple full rides offered to him, but he declined. He didn’t feel like college was the place for him. He wanted to stay on the ranch, he also realized he wanted to join the army.
He worked construction for a few years before he joined. His parents fully supported him, and he had no problem with being deployed. He’d miss his parents, but he knew that he could deal. The only thing he couldn’t deal with was leaving his best friend Kaiden. Kai was his everything, and she wasn’t just his best friend, he loved her. She was his rock, and she helped him through all his bad times. So much was always going on in his life.
As the ranch got more public the less time his parents spent with him. He became, well, felt less important to his parents compared to the teenagers that come to their house to live and try to better their life. Zeke feels as if his issues are insignificant, sometimes he even feels like a bother. He knows that his parents love him. But, he knows that his parents are putting a lot more effort towards the other kids than to him. One reason why he wanted to join the army.
He was deployed in Afghanistan and returned home when he took a shot to his back, coming close to his spinal cord, almost taking his life. He survived and his full strength and mobility, except it has left him with PTSD, which, he doesn’t want to accept.
He currently isn’t working but will be getting back into construction, along with coaching and he will be a recruiter for the Army. He spends heaps of time with Kaiden and at the ranch. He realized how close he was to losing it all once, so he doesn’t take a moment for granted anymore. He lives in the moment.
behind the character
“Bye.” He sighed as he put the cigarette back in between his lips and his the end button on his iPhone. He hated the weekly check-ins with his Father. It made him feel like he was still a young teenager that needed to be taken care of, well, that wasn’t the case. All he needed from his father was money, he didn’t care about anything else.
He took a long drag, holding the sweet smoke in his mouth before exhaling it again. He looked around the room, it’d been a crazy weekend and his apartment was trashed. I need to hire a house keeper he thought to himself as he stood up. He walked into the kitchen, taking another drag from the poisonous stick as he reached it. He opened the fridge and pulled out the container of orange juice, taking a long gulp of it, straight out of the container.
Leaning against the counter he started to reflect on the conversation he had with his father. ”You need to stop partying, make your own money, get your degree, find a fucking women, and settle down. I know you’re young Jesse but you have an entire God damn business to take over. Get your act together.”
After taking a final drag from his cig he smashed it into the ash tray, letting several tears slip from the corners of his eyes. He could only be tough for so long, and everything was starting to add up. He was having a difficult time dealing with all the pressure that was being placed upon him. He knew that he wasn’t being productive, sex and partying wouldn’t get him anywhere in life. But it blacks out the depression, guilt and stress. He thought to himself.
He reached for the orange juice and filled a glass partially full, filling the rest of it with vodk.
