Kaiden was glad to finally be able to be back at school. She needed to be able to go to classes and to work towards graduation. School took her mind off of things, they allowed her to zone out. While she was at school focusing on homework she didn't think about Zeke, who was of doing god only knows what with the Army, or her grandmother, who she prayed to god would still have enough memory left for her to finish school before having to care for her full time. Kaiden was lucky that she was able to go to at least three classes before going home. She sat on the front steps waiting for Caleb to hopefully show up.
The girl started to eat her pizza, it was good to have something other than boxed food in her stomach. It made her feel better. Kaiden soaked up the sun outside while she had the chance. She often had to think about those that she cared about, who made things that she went through worth it. Jupiter helped her realize that she needed to do this.
