Overall Personality:
Jude is a quiet girl with a lot of love to give. But first you have to find it. She won't say much when you first meet her, and she will avoid you and eye contact at any cost. It's a small fear she has that all will be known about her and seen if one just simply looks into her eyes. Blame her wild brain for that one. However, once you get past her shy and scared ways you will find a best friend. She is talkative and creative and loves a good laugh. She is loyal to the very end, even if it costs her something dear. She will never let down a friend in need if it can be helped.
She is also quite violent, again a thanks must be given to that wonderful brain of hers. She will sometimes forget where she is and whats going on and in turn a violent and scared person will take over. She will hurt anyone to get away from a situation she sees as harmful. Even herself. Also if she feels you're being wrong to someone, you will pay.
When she wasn't locked up she was a bit of a party animal. Like every teen is at some point in their life. She loves to dance and music is the most calming thing in the world to her. She loves all kinds and will let you know so. This goes along with art, she will paint till she can't anymore especially if there is a nice tune to go along with it.
Her heart is a strange place. It is hard to get in for most, yet at times it seems anyone can enter. She is a hopeless romantic and will do anything for anyone to notice her if she feels a connection to you. She loves till the end.

Overall History:
Judith was an only child to a happy home. They wanted more kids but it just never happened. That didn't stop them from loving the one they had. Jude was a quiet child, never making much of a fuss unless she was put near water. She had a horrible fear of it, due to a case of almost drowning when she was three. Her parents thought she would never remember but she did. Ever since then she avoided large areas of water like the plague. Other than that small set back, childhood was fantastic for her. She never saw a thing wrong with life, never had an issue and school and loved every second of being a child.
When age twelve rolled around though things became different. School became difficult as looks were all of a sudden becoming important. Her grades were slipping due to her obsessive need of wanting to be perfect and accepted, and her friendships were non existent. At home life wasn't much better. Her parents had started to grow apart, and her mother was gone all the time. Her father seemed to know where she was going, but never said a word. He would try and stop the fighting if he ever saw Jude around, her mother however never seemed to care.
Teen years were no walk in the park. Of course she fell in love, but it wasn't meant to be. There was always a more pretty girl for him to follow leaving Jude alone. Plus like most the kids began to notice, Jude just wasn't quite right. She became more quiet as time went on, often hearing things she knew weren't there. Her parents brushed it off as hormones those and life kept going.
A day after her seventeenth birthday, Jude's mother packed her things and set out to live with her new boyfriend. Surprising everyone but Jude's father, who had known all along. It was devastating but life moved on as best it could. Her mother's new boyfriend seemed nice enough, until he was out of money. Then he would sneak Jude's mother back into the house with the excuse that she had forgotten something and she'd take a bit more to sell. This went on until Jude's father found out. He met them at the door and threatened them until they left.
Sadly they returned that night, and simple break in turned into a fist fight between the two men. Jude's mother was all about dramatics and set in to help, bashing Jude's father over the head with a simple fire poke. Sadly the blow killed him, and Jude having seen the whole thing was a bit scared.
However, when the boyfriend suggested Jude be taken care of so no one could know the truth, violence took over. The girl fought hard but ended up knocked out in the back of a car. When she woke up she was in a ditch near the lake. Her head was bleeding and her throat cut. She struggled to find help before passing out on the side of the road once more. She had barely any memory of what had happened and less hope of living.
This time when she woke she was in the hospital where she was told she was lucky to have survived. She was healed up but kept on high medications. She never understood why until they brought her to a psychiatrist who informed her that her mother had told him the story of how she had killed her own father and then tried to kill herself. She couldn't believe it, nor understand it but she accepted it to keep her mother safe. Whom she of course thought was innocent in the whole matter. She moved around from institute to institute before finally settling here.
behind the character
Jude smiled brightly into the sun, waiting for the burn to stop enough to allow her to open her eyes. It had been a while since she had been allowed to be outside. Something about attacking a nurse didn't go over to well with these people. But to be fair, the lady was trying to wake her up. She never liked waking up. Dreams were so much better than reality. But that was a week ago and all had been forgiven. She was now permitted to get a bit of sunlight on her already painfully pale skin. She felt as if she could bathe in it and die happily. Nothing was better than fresh sunlight on an already good day.
Yes, for once the day had been good. She was allowed to wake on her own time, got little pills. Fewer than she had been getting and everyone seemed almost nice today. They had been avoiding her, which was the nicest thing anyone could do in her mind. Today was indeed, a very good day.
She glanced out at the other patients playing ball across the way and sighed, she could remember doing that a few years back... Kind of... She liked playing games and being involved, but now she just got spooked and wanted nothing to do with anyone. She figured they wouldn't want her around anyway surly word had gotten out about her attack and people were on edge. Patients didn't really like violence, and she couldn't blame them. So she decided to just stay put in the grass, and enjoy the quiet light.
A voice could be heard behind her, but she ignored it thinking it was another one of her own mind games. It got louder until it was beside her. Another doctor she imagined. She wouldn't look at the sound. She worried if she did she would be forced to go inside. She just sat quietly before resting her gaze on the ground. Wishing the person away wouldn't work. Perhaps ignoring would?
