beg for the rest of my life
Lying on her back, Talulah stared up the celing of her caravan cart. Nimble fingers fiddled with the silver chain around her neck. A snoring Boris lied next to her, taking up the majority of her custom bed. Many people found it strange that she shared her bed with a beast, who with one angered swipe, could rip her into shreds. Never did those thoughts cross her mind though. Boris was domesticated for the most part, as long as he could see Talulah. He was very protective of his foster mother, that was certain. Their relationship was strange, confusing, and odd to outsiders. Even fellow performers were a little put-off by their attachment to each other, and that's saying something. But Lola loved her BorBor, regardless of what others thought. Rolling on to her side, she shifted her bony hips and snuggled into the furry back of the giant Kodiak bear. An enormous sigh came from in front of her, causing a smile to pull at the corners of her pink mouth. His warmth was all she needed to fall asleep, as Boris was like a blanket on his own. Warm, and softer than fleece. No longer could she fight the sleep that was creeping at the back of her neck. Lids fluttered down, and her complex brown eyes were shielded.
A giant snort snapped her back into the waking world. Boris had his giant snout in her face, nudging her as gently as he possibly could. She knew exactly what it was that he wanted. He needed to go outside and use the facilities. For the most part, Boris was able to do things independently. But opening doors wasn't something he had mastered quite yet, and Lola repremanded him if he even tried to open the door. His large paws had ripped a door off of its hinges one too many times, and put her in the hole seven hundred dollars.
Bare feet touched down onto the carpeted floor softly, then clenched fists pushed her light body up off of the squishy mattress. A rolling Boris soon followed after her. Lola pulled her lace-up Doc Martin's over toward the edge of her large bed, and down she sat. Sliding her feet into the boots, she lazily laced them up and stood once more. Scanning her bedroom, she snatched up her knitted fedora, plopped it on the top of her head, and glanced in the large antique mirror hanging on her wall. Her lipstick had faded from earlier, and that needed to be fixed as soon as possible. So she did, gliding the silver tube across her smooth lips. Heart-shaped sunglasses were the last thing she grabbed, aside from her keys.
Boris stepped out of the cart, strolling quickly across the dying grass. Many hellos were ushered in his direction, and the hellos followed to Talulah as she trailed behind her partner. He led her towards the small area set aside for the trained animals to do their business, and as per routine, Lola turned her back to him. He got awfully self conscious if she watched him go to the bathroom. So human-like, yet still so beastly. So Lola stood their, weight shifted onto one leg, arms crossed over her chest.
