ARMATIGE, Joseph Richard

Joseph is an adorable guy. He has brown hair that ends at his eye brows and covers the upper half of his ears. He has pretty blue eyes that always seem to hold a friendly look to them. He generaly wears comfortable clothing like jeans, Converse, t-shirts, and hoodies. Of course, he's more stylish than that on some days, even wearing a button up over one of his t-shirts and maybe even a loose tie. He stands at 5'5", but will get taller as he gets older. When he's done growing, he'll be around 5'11". He has an toned build, not too skinny and not too muscular.

Joseph is the younger brother to Rachel and Adela Armatige. He was born when they were ten years old, making him the baby of the family. He was treated as such too. His mother babied him and his father was someone he looked up to. He was very close to his sisters, often following them around when he was little, as well went to when he had a bad dream at night. At the age of five, his parents tried to teach him how to swim without floaties. He, of course, refused to give up the floaties no matter what. As he got older, to the age of seven, he substitued the floaties for just a regular float. He didn't let go of it once he was in the water, though. When his older sister, Adela, moved away, he asked his parents if he could live closer to her. Of course, she was in college so he couldn't. When she left college, though, their parents decided that it was okay for him to move in with her. He was so excited that he literally didn't live her side for a whole week, until she had work, or other necessities.

Joseph is a polite boy with a friendly aura around him. He always seems to have a smile on his face and loves to make others smile. He is very sweet and will always help others out, especially when others wont. He does whatever he can to help out his sister, since she's supporting him, herself, and his two huskies, Lilly and Scout. He does odd jobs when he's not in school to help make his own money so he can go out and do stuff without taking his sister's cash. He's a fairly smart kid and is generally a straight A student. Of course, this doesn't help him much when it comes to the bullies at school. He is called a geek, a nerd, a loser, basically anything. He hasn't told anybody, but it really brings him down when people pick on him. He doesn't want anybody to worry about him. Maybe that's why he always has a smile so that people think he's alright all the time. It takes a lot to make him mad or upset. When he does get angry, though, he generally runs off and hides himself. While he's hiding, he usually punches things. This often gets him swollen knuckles. He even broke his hand once and had to be taken to get a cast. When asked how he did it, he said he was carrying something heavy and he tripped, causing it to land on his hand.

He likes all types of food, his dogs, bowling, playing his guitar, singing, and generally just having fun. He really hates bullies and big bodies of water, though. He never learned how to swim, no matter how hard his family tried to get him to swim without a float. With them living next to the beach, he often nervous when his friends ask him to go with them to the ocean. He usually gives them some lame excuse saying his sister wants him to stay home for the day.

He wants to be a Zoologist when he gets older. He has always loved animals and decided that he wanted to be around them for the rest of his life. This generally gets on his parents nerves since Zoology majors generally don't make a lot of money and they're scared he wont be able to support himself when he gets older. He refuses to change his mind, though, and will do anything he can to become a Zoologist.
