Likes: sex, an occasional drink, the days he gets to see his daughter, ice cream, days he doesn't end up staying late in the office, old cartoons, black and white films, putting shows on mute and making up what they say (usually something he does with his daughter), shopping, embarrassing his daughter, watching the vampire diaries and cheesy romance comedies, re creating that scene in singing in the rain whenever he has an umbrella, a lamp post, and rain Dislikes: Hearing his daughter talk back to him, his ex keeping him from seeing their daughter, being tolled he isn't good enough, having to work 24 hours straight with minimum sleep, not being able to be there for events his daughter par takes in, having no shampoo or hair gel, when he messes up (no matter how small the mess up), cashews, , brown m&ms, having to eat left overs for an entire week, his job (at times) Strengths: understanding people, lifting weights, and triathlons Weaknesses: his daughter, his ex, and math Fears: Fears never seeing his daughter again, fears for his daughter's safety, and fears that he might be stuck at this job forever Habits: he looks at his wrist ever forty-five minutes or so even if he isn't wearing his watch. He constantly checks his phone incase he needs to be called in. He also has a habit of putting his pen or pencil behind his ear when in sessions with his patients. Secrets: He has always wanted to burst out in song, like a musical. He has slept with a guy. Overall Personality: He has a jock side to him, where he can be a bit cocky and narcissistic. He also knows this and tries not to be as well. He adapts to those he is around. He is a great with people, loves being their for them. He was born to be father, but he can't be the best father in the world due to the living arrangements made with his daughter's mom, which frustrates him. Which leads me to the frustration side of his personality. Patience can only last so long. He has a job that takes a lot of energy out on him and that definitely effects his personality. Whether he is in a grumpy mood, being fake happy, or actually up beat depends on his day. If it's been a rough week he can easily get frustrated, but he usually apologizes sooner or later. Pudding Lover. He'll talk about pudding all day long. He usually has a pudding cup on him every day. He tries to find new recipes that might involve pudding. It's one of the main things that makes him and his personality different from others and a bit quirky. He is afraid of being locked in a pitch black room. He certainly doesn't like the place he lives now. He thinks a ghost followed him home from the hospital. He usually has his bathroom door cracked opened, so he might have a little light in his room. Usually very mature, Eli can be eclectic, and spontaneous, though lately he's forgotten how to be spontaneous He needs someone to make him want to be spontaneous again. He tends to interpret things that don't really need to be interpreted. If you ask him how to describe his own personality, he wouldn't know what to tell you. He doesn't think he's the most interesting person in the world, but he'd like a bit more attention that he is getting now. Mother: Rachel (lives in Ohio) Father: Logan (lives a block away from him) Siblings: Damond 36, Brody 28 Other: Daughter: 14 years old Pets: Juno the Pug and Karla the cat Overall History: Born in Ohio, he was raised there till he was teenager. His parents seemed happy enough, though he didn't realize it was all an act till later on in life. His parents separated and divorced, causing him to live with his mom for a certain part of the year and then his dad the rest of the year. He had two rooms, got twice the amount of gifts, what could a kid want more, right? He loved both of his parents, and the arrangement, until he had gotten into his first relationship. When time came to switch to new location, eh didn't want to, but he had no say in the matter. They tried to keep the relationship going, but after a month and half they called it quits, because it wasn't fair for her to be with someone that was only there for one semester a year. He made friends in both places. Here in New Port he seemed to have more artsy friends and in Ohio he had more jock friends. In Ohio he played sports, in New Port he focused more on his studies. He went through a weird bug collection stage during his sophomore year of high school. It's not something he admits to just anyone. There was one girl he did mention it to, who had her own collection, but of rocks and the two ended up hanging out a lot. When it came time for him to switch over to Ohio, the two continued to talk through whatever means possible. When he returned the two picked it up where they left off. Eventually, their friendship faded by the time senior year came around, but they found each other once more in college. Sophomore year of college he saw this beautiful young woman in the library. He didn't even realize it was the same woman until he started talking to her. Needless to say the two ended up dating. She was trying to get in a field that studied volcanos and rocks and he was in general studies. Once he got all the general courses done, he decided to switch to psychology. When they were in their early twenties, they had gotten their degrees and were working on their masters. Seven months before his twenty forth birthday, the woman obsessed with rocks had told him she was three months along. She was two a few days after Eli's 24th birthday, but ended up delivering early. Everything seemed great, he continued to go to school, but took lesser hours and picked up a full time job. After a while, she went back to school and they had family watch their daughter. Everyone seemed to be envious of them, wanted to be them, this perfect cute little family. Yet, having a child changes a person and the woman he use to love was no longer the same. When their daughter turned seven, the two split up. She moved back to where her family now was in Texas and he stayed in New Port. He only gets to see his daughter based on a schedule she had made. They would mix up who got her on the holidays each year.In order for her not to have to change school mid year, she stayed with her mom during her school years and during the summer and on breaks she would come and stay with him. Now she's fourteen and he's at this busy job, so she only comes to visit for a couple of weeks here and there. Though I have a feeling her mom might be sending her to live with him for a bit, which would turn his world upside down. |
