Which is what she'd done for the last few days. It was odd for her. But she just hadn't felt like going out. The first day was fine, she was bloody hung over. The second was reasonable. But a THIRD night in was unheard of for her. So she was forcing herself to go out tonight. Her phone seemed to keep buzzing with news of parties, which - to be honest - were all very tempting. However, she had decided hours ago that a quiet night at the bar was all she needed for tonight. Undoubtedly, there would be party goers coming and going all night, and a rush just before the parties, so she wouldn't miss out on the gossip. It was like being there without having to mingle as much. Or try to find a guy. Not that she had any problem with that, but there was always competition for who she wanted. At the bar, there hardly ever was. If she started talking to someone, he was hers for the night. If he turned to another girl, then he wasn't interested and she should move on. Just the usual cat - mouse game. And sometimes a nice night in someone else's bed. Groaning, she snatched the dress she had laid out earlier and stripped down to her bra and underwear, then took her time putting it on. She tugged down the bottom, and twisted the sleeves so they were placed just right. Sliding her hands down her side to her hips, Kayleigh reveled in how well it fit her. And just how cute it was in general. Smiling, she suddenly felt ready to get out. Maybe it was the outfit, or maybe she just felt something was going to happen. Who really knows? Or cares. After grabbing a simple caramel colored purse, Kayleigh left her apartment, making sure to lock it behind her after a quick key check. The bar wasn't far, so she was walking. Each step was accompanied by the soft click of her angle boot heels on the concrete. After the short walk, she pushed her way into the bar, which wasn't too crowded. Looking around, she noticed a seat open in the corner of the bar. Making her way over, she sat down on the very last seat in the bar, which was darker than the rest of the already dimly lit room. Smiling, she ordered spiced rum and coke. Not what she usually had, but stronger. It just seemed to fit the scene. Smirking, Kayleigh took a small sip of her drink while scanning the bar. Just as she'd thought, the corner gave her the perfect vantage point to view the majority of the bar. Which mean the chance to see who to... have some fun with. |
