Overall Personality: elias is one of those kids that never wants to grow up. he loves being like a kid, though he also doesn't. this is where the problem comes in. elias loves behaving like a kid, likes goofing around and having fun like a kid, but he hates being treated like a kid. really, he just hates it. sometimes it's nice when people say it's a reason he can get away with things, but most of the time it's annoying. he was raised seing his older siblings get to do things, but he was never allowed to do them; although this was a good thing half the time he always hates being told he can't do something because he's too young. he hates being babied and pitied and it's one of the fastest ways to get elias ticked off.

eli is very stubborn. when he wants something, he wants it. now. there's obviously some leeway when it involves, you know, living things like people, but he's still pretty damn stubborn. he isn't easily stepped on like some people think. yeah, you can take advantage of him in certain situations, but he isn't oblivious to the world. elias is a pretty happy - go - lucky guy; he is almost always seen with a smile. one of his goals in life is to make sure that people know someone is there for them, that they aren't alone. some might think that, because of what happened to him when he was little, he'd be a bit scarred about it - but he's not. sure, he thinks about it sometimes, but he knows life moves on, and so should he.

the boy is extremely loyal, dedicated, and protective. if someone he cares about is being picked on, he doesn't care what the situation is - he'll get involved. elias would get in front of a gun for someone he cares about deeply, and he'd even get in a fight for some random stranger. elias knows he lets people into his heart too fast, but he can't really help it. when someone is in his heart and also is in a bad situation, he'll worry about them . . . a lot. elias also has a soft spot for people who are down on their luck or victims of any kind of abuse, though he'll never tell anyone why.

elias wasn't really an expected child. his dad was always kind of a flaky douche bag and he never really was in eli's life. in fact, eli only ever saw the man a few times in his entire life. well, the reason he wasn't expected is because his dad didn't really stay with his mom in the years before his birth. he would show up for a day and then leave again, showing up months later. one of those nights, elias's mom and dad obviously had sex. after all, how else would - you know what? never mind. they made a baby, elias, who was their fourth child. yes, they used a condom, but flukes happen. even though eli's mom had the option to not keep him, she did; her eldest children were almost out of the house and she wanted someone to keep her company.

elias always loved baseball . . . and music, but before he realized his love of musicals, he was into baseball. he played on the local little league team. one day, when he was eight, the team was having a break and eli started to feel sick. his head was spinning and he couldn't walk in a straight line. it wasn't long before he was blacked out on the floor. his coach volunteered to take elias to go get help, but he did something very different from helping him. eli's coach took him to his house and locked him in a room. when eli woke up, the man raped him, multiple times. when eli fought back, his coach got violent. the man started beating eli, especially enjoying hitting his ear and watching it bleed. and, since he was left handed, most of the injuries were on eli's right side.

since it was obvious who took elias, it was only a matter of days before the police found where he was. they just had to realize he was missing and not at the hospital and find out where the coach had taken him. after a few hours of the coach threatening to shoot elias if the police didn't go away, the police stormed in and shot the coach, saving elias in the process. he was naturally traumatized after it, even more so when they realized he'd never get the hearing in his right ear back. at least he managed to keep that part on the down low; even back then, he hated being pitied.

since then, not much really happened. he stopped playing baseball, though he still loves watching the sport. he realized that he loved the theater and acting, and was in love with musicals. sure, it wasn't the most manly (or, as some would say, heterosexual) thing, but he's secure with himself. elias has recently been hired by a local theater group to be an actor with them in some of their productions, which they perform on stage every month or so.
