He's 21. Sexual orientation: Bisexual Occupation: college student/musician Member group: Port Community College Junior; Music Major. Face claim: Kellin Quinn Distinguishing features: He has an assortment of tattoos and scars. Likes: music, singing, animals, drawing, scary movies, the beach, playing around, random dancing, water sports. Dislikes: rules, authority, being told no, bad weather, work, responsibility, 5+ year plans, clingy people, long term commitment Strengths: observant, protective, loyal, playful. Weaknesses: easily excitable, jealous, possessive, distant. Fears: death and dying, enclosed spaces, losing people he loves/cares about. Habits: he taps on things and paces a lot, he chews on his finger tips, and he bites his lip. Secrets: he's bipolar and he used to be involved in petty thievery, he has a bad habit of wanting things that don't belong to him. Overall Personality: To say he was an open book would perhaps be pushing the proverbial limit. With most things, almost nothing about him was what it seemed, he was the textbook example of a volcano, underlying emotion percolating just beneath the surface and just waiting to erupt. He came across as a genuine sweetheart, a baby faced young man who loved nothing more than to play around and have fun, without a care in the world, and for the most part, that was exactly what he was. He's an eccentric at best, he more often than not acts before thinking and many of those times, he often falls into a lot more trouble than he would ever care to admit. He took not judging a book by it's cover to a whole new, next level meaning; he was the cherub cheeked "big kid" who seemed to be able to kiss ass his way out of almost anything he put his mind to. He was the young man with the baby faced smile that "could never do something wrong". And on many occasions, he remained misunderstood, unable to be accepted by anyone other than his best friend because no one else was capable to putting up with his off the wall antics or they didn't have the ability to keep up with his next level amount of energy. He isn't afraid to tell a little white lie here and there in order to ensure that he got exactly what he wanted, even if it was wrong and he knew it did not belong to him, or that he did not deserve it. But even still, for those who by some grace of God manage to get close to him, and if they're able to put up with him, he's surprisingly loyal to those who gain his trust, and he'd go to the ends of the earth for those closest to him. But, here's a shocker, even he has his flaws. He has an uncanny ability to become jealous, and possessive. And you know, there's that whole stealing thing, but you know, details. Everything seemed to change as his friendship with Peyton grew stronger, though. He found himself getting in less trouble than usual and he often 'tried' to strive to be a better person. Needless to say, Peyton is the one he's closest to at this point. Mother: Alexandra Reese (Adoptive) Father: Zachary Reese (Adoptive) Siblings: William Reese - deceased. (Adoptive) Other: Peyton Turner, best friend. Pets: Siberian Husky named Luke. Overall History: Todd doesn't remember a lot of his childhood prior to being adopted by the Reeses when he was six. But whether that could be chalked up to a poor memory or him blocking everything out, it was unknown to him. But what he did remember, loud noises, constant yelling, it couldn't have been a very pleasant one. But everything changed when he was taken in by Alexandra and Zachary Reese. They were wonderful people, they provided for both children no matter the circumstance. They didn't treat Todd any different than their eldest son, William, just because Todd was the human equivalent of the small, wide eyed stray puppy that you just could not help but take pity on. But from the very beginning it had been made clear that he had an uncanny ability to stir up trouble. He was always the kid that ran around on christmas eve to try and find all the presents, he was the kid that would scale the kitchen counters to get to the prized cookies. If it could be gotten into, you could bet your bottom dollar than Todd had one arm in elbow deep. Growing up in Newport was definitely an experience. It was his home town, his pride and glory even if he had a pretty poor way of showing it. But everything seemed to fall into place once he turned ten. It was then that he met Peyton Turner, and from the very beginning they seemed to click, and Todd found himself wanting to spend most, if not all of his free time around her and in her company. She seemed to be the only one able to keep him from acting out completely, and while that hadn't always been enough, he was grateful for it. But once he turned twelve, it became clear that Todd was finding too much pleasure in pilfering items, pocketing things that didn't belong to him, and all it took was a few good scares with the local police to make him more conscious about what he was doing. By the time he turned fourteen, he got pretty involved in music, writing his own songs, teaching himself to play guitar, and covering some. But things took a slight turn for the worse when he was sixteen and school guidance counselors finally began to take notice of his behavior. And within a few short months, the puppy eyed boy was diagnosed having Bipolar disorder, and while he was told that he would never be treated any differently, for a long while he tried to distance himself from everyone. When he was eighteen, though, his older brother was diagnosed with cancer, and he passed away a little less than a year later. He wanted nothing more than to run away and hide, but even still, he found himself drawing closer and closer to Peyton, because through everything, she was the only one who didn't try to leave him behind. It was at her convincing that he finished high school, graduated, and was now attending the community college while majoring in music. In a strong sense, he owed everything to her. |
